I have just purchased the last 2 funkeys needed to complete my set of UB FUNKEYS. (except for DOT, but she wasn't sold in stores so I don't count her).

I can't believe it. I got them for just $15.99 on Ebay. That is a great deal as I was trying to do a best offer with someone else on Ebay and was willing to pay more than that. What I did pay is only $5 more than what they were in the stores.

I am sooooooooo soooooo excited. I didn't think I would ever get them. I have been watching ebay for ever and they were always around $30. There is no way I could have paid that.

Today I found the Scratch Quest near Da Scratch Club. You have to take a mix to King Sidd in Hidden realm. But don't let Kane get you. He will take your mix.

Once you reach King Sidd, give him the mix, then leave Hidden Realm. Your prize is a "mini King Sidd" for your crib.

I didn't get anything telling me that I had gotten something. I just went to my crib and looked under "QUEST" and there it was. Below is a pic of the mini sidd in my crib.

I just returned home from Kmart with 4 new funkeys. They had VR MAUL, VR NECTAR, VR RASTRO, & VR TADD.

However, the 4 I bought was the only 4 they had in the stores. They were not even with the other funkeys they had.

THANKS TO ALL FOR THEIR PRAYERS, MOM CAME THRU SURGERY VERY WELL. MUCH BETTER THAN THEY EXPECTED, AND I BELIEVE IT WAS DUE TO ALL OF YOU PRAYING FOR HER. SHE WILL BE IN THE HOPITAL FOR 4 MORE DAYS. THEY HAD TO USE 3 STENTS, BUT HER ARTERIES LOOK VERY STRONG AND HEALTHY NOW.

So here is the plan. They will do the ANGIOPLASTY tomorrow with 3 or 4 stints. They don't feel she is "healthy" enough to go through open heart again. Her surgery will begin at 10:30 am. Thanks to all who have prayed for her. I believe it helped. We did not want her to have open heart again. So all of your prayers were heard. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR KEEPING HER IN YOUR THOUGHTS.

Anyone out there who reads this blog, please pray for my mom. She has 2 main arteries blocked in her heart. She will most likely have to have a second open heart surgery. She is 63 and diabetic. We need all the prayers we can get. The second surgery will have greater risks than the first (which she had 13 years ago.) She is in good spirits, but since she has been through it once, she knows what to expect, and it is SCARY.

Okay, I can't stand it any more. Mattel needs to RELEASE DOT already. People are going crazy with trying to make money off of the NON-RELEASE OF DOT!!!! This is what I happened upon today while searching ebay for Dot. Someone has put up for auction, the list of codes for ub funkeys, and claims to have a 'SECRET' way to get into DOT SPOT without using DOT. Give me a break. I think the portal jammers have been around long enough to figure out you can use one to get into DOT SPOT. If you can't get loot, but have MAYOR SAYSO, you can use him to check out the store in DOT SPOT. I just can't believe people are bidding on this!!!!!

YANG BIO

The Yang believe that they are the most balanced of all Funkeys, and practice the ancient discipline of Funk Shui in order to maintain this balance. Funk Shui teaches that equilibrium is achieved when divergent polarities cancel each other out. For every act of kindness they perform, they must do something cruel. For every joke they tell to make Funkeys laugh, they must tell a tragic tale to make Funkeys cry. They do exhaustive research on a topic, than act on a whim. After a very spicy dinner is eaten, a very sweet desert must be consumed as well! Their favorite song of all time is ‘You gotta be Cruel to be Kind!!’
The desire for inner balance has also led to the organization of balance among the Yang as a tribe under a system the Yang call Communalism. The collective ownership of property and the organization of labor for the common advantage of all are the key ideas of Communalism. This community balance makes it so that no individual Yang is wealthier, more famous, or more powerful then any of their fellow Yang comrades. Every Yang is equal.
However, equal does not mean balanced. If the Yang only followed this system of communalism, this could possibly lead to an entirely peaceful tribe, which to the Yang would be out of balance according to the practice of Funk Shui. If there is peace, their must be conflict!

SINGE BIO

The Singe love hot and spicy food. The hotter and spicier the better, and there is no spicier food in Terrapinia then the Molten Insanity Pepper. The insanity pepper is so hot that it can light paper plates on fire. It’s so spicy that even waving one of these peppers in the general direction of any other food will make that food so unbearably hot that it will be inedible for most Funkeys!
While most Funkeys avoid the molten insanity pepper like a bad sunburn, a full plate of raw insanity peppers is a Singe favorite meal! The Singe eat these peppers for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and would even sprinkle them on ice cream for desert if they could just figure out how to keep the ice cream from instantly melting.
In fact, the Singe eat so many insanity peppers, that flames erupt from their mouth and eyes. They eat these peppers so often, that the flames have left permanent red scorch marks on their faces giving the Singe their frightful appearance!
This diet of insanity peppers is also the key to the Singe strength in the Battledome. The Singe prepare for each fight by eating especially large plates of insanity peppers. This volatile meal ignites the fire in their eyes and makes the Singe hot-tempered and aggressive. The Singe also know that there is no way they will get a glass of water until the fight is over giving them extra incentive to beat their opponents as quickly as possible.
If you see a Singe grubbing on a plate of insanity peppers, you better watch out, because a flaming lunatic is coming your way!

BOMBLE BIO

Long before the creation of the portals, the distant peaks and valleys of the great Wowsnatch mountain range were once uncharted and dangerous lands where only the bravest explorers dared go. One such explorer, the great Bagley Webley returned from a year long expedition to the Wowsnatch range, telling incredible tales of a wild tribe of Funkeys he had discovered while exploring its highest peaks.
While lost in a terribly fierce blizzard, Bagley saw a savage looking hairy Funkey taking a casual nap in a frozen bed of snow. Being awoken from a leisurely afternoon nap, this strange new Funkey was angry to say the least, and immediately let out a fearsome roar. Terrified, Bagley reached into his web pouch, and gabbed the only thing he could find. He held it out, and said "Uhh…I caught you a delicious Bass."
Bagley spent the next year living with the Yeti, as he called them. Living on the peak of a mountain, the Bomble’s diet consisted of nothing more then snow-cones and ice-cubes, and and a slim stick of spicy meat the Yeti called chim! The Bomble took Bagley in as one of their own, taught him their language, and even let him participate in their nightly laughing ritual they called the Big Hoot; basically, sitting around the fire, passing gas and talking sports. Bagley loved that the most.
Of course, upon Bagley’s return, with no evidence that these “Bomble” actually existed, many a Funkey did not believe his wild tales of savage mountain dwelling Funkeys. For years, other explorers tried in vain to prove the existence of the Bomble, but it was not until Kings Sidd’s zeppelin appeared above Funkeystown, that the existence of the Bomble was finally proven.
With a promise of unlimited fish dinners, Sidd had convinced the Bomble to leave the frigid homes and travel to the Hidden Realm. Using their brute strength, and a fighting style they call Icebreaking, the Yeti have become fearsome competitors, fighting for the entertainment of King’s Sidd in his Battledome

There must be something new in funkeystown. When I logged on today, I got the "let me check if there is anything new" window. Then it said there was a new download "4.5 trunk update". Yes I know this is old news, but let me finish before you judge.

What I have noticed is, when there is a new mood, or familiar added, they usually tell me I need to update. It usually says 0 mb as the size. HOWEVER this time is said 14 mb for the size.

Now the bad news, MASTER LOX HAS STRUCK AGAIN!!!!!! So now I cannot verify what was added with the download.

As soon as MASTER LOX goes away, I will let you know what I find out.

Do you think it will be a new mood, or did they finally bring back the familiars they took away, or will there be a new familiar???????

BIO of LOTUS & HEART HOOPLA

BIO...Lotus are extremely calm & peaceful Funkeys and have an intense connection to the planet - the Great Mother Terrapin. Lotus are friends to all wildlife and have the ability to communicate with many different types of animals; some say they can even talk to trees.
With such a natural bond with the environment, it seems odd that the Lotus reside in the heart of Funkeys Town. Could this be the reason for the broken heart? Then again, maybe it is their strong bond with environment that holds all of Funkeys Town together.
Either way, the Lotus stay cool in all situations, even Master Lox and his evil henchmen don’t get the Lotus too worried; their expressions never change.

GAME... Heart Hoopla

The object of this game is to clear the hearts to expose the sharp points at the top of the screen. Then throw a heart to the top to bust it on the sharp points. Be careful though, you don't want the hearts to reach the shaded area at the bottom of the screen. If you wait too long, another row of hearts will appear at the top, pushing all the other hearts down towards the shaded area. You need 3 or more of the same color hearts touching each other in order to clear that group. If you get too close to the shaded area, there are 3 sticks of dynamite. Click on 1 and point your arrow in the direction you would like to use the dynamite on.

Missing more familiars

With the addition of the lovestruck mood, we find again a familiar has gone missing. This time it is bones familiar. That takes us up to 3 missing familiars. To those of you that already have it, you didn't lose it. For those of you that didn't get it yet, well sorry, you can't get it at this time.

If you are into buying the familiars, be sure to log on everyday to check for new familiars, and buy them as quickly as possible. It seems they dissappear quicker than they appear.

Although no release date has been mentioned, this does give us a little insight as to what we can expect for the UB Funkeys.

MY THOUGHTS ON DOT.

I was going through the BIOS @ ubfunkeys.com, and while reading through Dots bio, I have come to the conclusion that DOT will never be mass produced.

"Because their gift is always in demand, the Dot
are very shy in public, preferring not to call any
attention to themselves. Dots tend to be quiet and" reserved.

If I read between the lines, I see this as a type of warning to us that Dot won't be released to the public.

"It's really quite amazing to find a dot, and if you do, you should consider
yourself quite Lucky!"

This is telling me that some will be released for special events, like the '08 SDCC.
I really feel all the answers are there in black and white. In the beginning, we just didn't look hard enough into what they were saying. However now knowing DOT was only at the '08 SDCC, it all makes sense to me.

Just my thougts at the moment.

Mattel needs to get a handle on the DOT issue!!! If they would just release the **** funkey, people like this wouldn't, or couldn't try to rip off the actual funkey lovers of the world.

This truly makes me ANGRY. I really am second guessing myself for even getting obsessed with these FUNKEYS!!!! Why isn't there something more we can do about this?

I am excited to tell you, I am only 1 trophy short of completeing the ENTIRE game of ub funkeys. I really wasn't concerned about Speed Racer Series, but I was a little bored with the funkeys game, so I decided to try some SRS games. Trixie, Chim Chim, & Racer X weren't that hard to get ( I will give tips later). BUT the racing games stink!!!!! I had to bribe my son to come play for me. He got me Speed Racer & Cannonball Taylor trophys. Snake Oiler is the one that eludes us. He did get it in my game room though by coming in 3rd.

CRIB PROBLEMS!!!!!!

Here is the lastest problem I am encountering in the game of UB funkeys.
I was re-decorating my crib, adding some different stuff. I went to add a rug and wow it is floating!! Yup I said floating. It is not a new rug that I have recently aquired. I have had it for a while. I tried to put it under the couch, and it stayed on top. I tried to put it where there wasn't any thing else, and I could walk under it. Really OMG!!!!

So I think we should all brace ourselves, first the DOT familiar is missing, now some minor crib problems, I hope we are not in for any MAJOR problems soon.

Okay this post is dedicated to my OLDER sister(she is 43). She was complaining that

"How could you post about your bones fishing trophy and not tell them why and how you got it. I might just have to make a blog so I can tell everyone!"

So here is the scoop. I started playing funkeys in December 2007, then gave it up for a while. She found the Dream State funkeys in the store and bought me berger, back in October, and I started playing again. I didn't have all the trophys and gems for the original series 1 yet. With the addition of the Dream State, I started really getting into it. I was playing everyday, all day on the weekends and all of my family said how OBSESSED I was at this point. (Whatever, at least it gave me a cool name for all my logins ). Anyway, my sister tells me she will get me the Dream State pink hub for Christmas 2008 if she can have my series 1 hub. I said okay, but don't get mad at me when YOU get hooked. So after Christmas, she starts playing and guess what.....SHE GETS HOOKED.

We are a competitive family so her goal was to work on the games that I didn't have the trophys for. She thought she could beat me. ( yeah right ). Well at the time I was having a REALLY hard time with GLUB'S FISH BOWLING, and BONES FISHING (do you see the theme, I hate fish).

So her and I share a home office, so she would play and play, then I would see her playing so I would start. This went on for a while, then one day, to my surprise, IT happened.........She gets the FISH BOWLING (OMG)! So I HAD to go play and try to beat her. I even taped paper to my comp screen to try to line up the ball (now my mom thinks I AM WAY OBSESSED)

BTW, I am 34, share a house with my sister & her girlfriend, mom, and my 2 kids

Okay back to the point.......Finally 2 days later I get the trophy AND a higher score than her (SWEET). So I rub it in her face that she may have gotten the trophy first, but my score is higher (ha ha). She says "can't you let me have anything?"

So in the meantime, she goes on to play some of the other games, which I help her with, you know tips and tricks. Now I am left with one more trophy to get. But I am getting FRUSTRATED so I don't play so much. I go on the speak easy and read things, I start this blog, so on and so forth.

Well today, we are in the office, she is funkey-ing, and I am blogging. I have to leave to pick up my son from work AND she does it to me AGAIN (UGH!). While I was out, she gets the BONES FISHING trophy with a score of 31,000+. Well I wasn't going to let her bask in her glory for another 2 days, so I log on to Funkeys, plug in bones and start fishing. And bam, the first game I play, I score 32,276, so ha ha, she only had her moment for a 1/2 hour and my score was once again higher than hers.

Now she sees me post about my score and thinks she needs to be mentioned, because "if it wasn't for the pressure she caused me about getting the trophy first, then I probably NEVER would have gotten it." This is how it works with almost everything, I do the work, she thinks she needs the credit ( she is mom's FAVORITE ). I am sure after she reads this, I will have to create a login for her, show her how to follow this blog, then show her how to post a comment so she can leave some rambling comment on how only part of this is true. ( only the part about me doing almost everything and her wanting credit, but it sounded good)

What has happened to the Dot Familiar??????? It is no longer available in the trunk!!! Some are wondering if there were a limited supply of the familiars like there were on the real Dot funkey, others have replied "well maybe we will find the dot familiar on EBAY" (LOL--its just a joke)

But seriously, the Dot Familiar is currently NOT available in the trunk......We will have to keep watch and see if She is added back in.

Maybe they are doing some updates to the features the familiars give you and they decided to start with Dot. Lets keep our funkey fingers crossed xx

We are very sorry for any confusion and trouble that was inadvertently caused during the holidays due to technical issues with U.B. Funkeys. Our Funkey engineers finally have everything cleared up.
It appears that there was a disruption in the communication between our servers (sounds like Master Lox was busy over the holidays). We are still busy sorting through the individual concerns, but I can assure you that errors to any player’s accounts are being worked on. I want to be clear that there was never any loss of information or security issues of any type.
We are very protective and appreciative of our very loyal fan base. But as a small token of our appreciation for the patience everyone has shown during the outages, we would like to give everyone a “belated holiday gift” in the form of some free loot! Okay so here are my tips for playing Funkey Fighters(FF).

Z = punch
X = flip kick
C = head butts

arrow keys =
up = jump
down = protect yourself
left & right = move

at the bottom of screen you have "special" moves, you have to follow the sequence of arrows and letters that it shows you

You score more points by using the first "special" move that is listed at the bottom of your screen.
You will continue to rack up points if you hit your opponent while they are trying to protect themselves.
If you have trouble using the "special" moves, just continuously us the X key. This move is the easiest!

My scores are as follows........
Raj = 11,375......received trophy & tiger skin wallpaper
Bomble = 16,565......received trophy & ice walls wallpaper
Yang = 11,000......received trophy & large yang propaganda poster
Singe = 11,710......received trophy & singe flames

Now my scores were HIGH to say the least. I am figuring to just get the trophy, you won't need such high scores.
